Norma, born in Dalby on the Darling Downs, has always been creative – but only discovered her love and passion for painting after moving to the Sunshine Coast.

Mainly self taught Norma is both visual and tactile and has an eye for interpreting elements of life in abstract form and demonstrates great use of depth, feeling light and colour. Painting in acrylics, her works include still life, flowers, landscapes and seascapes.

More recently Norma has evolved her painting to a modern abstract technique that requires more texture and layers creating a 3D feeling that you are part of the scape and want to touch the piece.

Norma has also utilised some of her art and created what she calls “Table Art”. This is an A3 Pad of 30 pages of tear off placemats which can bring a theme of colour and culture to the table, making a great gift.
