As a tiny tot I drew horses on fuel drums,

As a child I drew in my school books,

As a teen I drew in my study time,

As a teacher in Coonamble I drew for my students,

As a farmer in Goondiwindi I painted my landscape,

As a retiree in Noosaville I’ll paint the river,

It’s what I do, It’s what I am

                                                                One day I’ll be a great artist,

                                                                If not it doesn’t matter.

                                                                It’s what I do.

                                                                It’s what I am.
