Introduction to Watercolour Workshop

If you’d like to try your hand at watercolour, this beginner’s workshop is for you. Our experienced watercolour artists, Di Taylor and Trish Poole, will be sharing tips, tricks and techniques with you.

The four-hour workshop will cover the watercolour basics of:

  • background washes
  • wet-in-wet technique
  • glazing, masking
  • colour mixing
  • basic composition.

There will also be a demonstration of watercolour paper preparation and stretching.

When: Friday, 19 August – 9.00am – 1.00pm

Venue: Kilcoy Courthouse Art Gallery

Cost: $20 (Members/FoGs) or $25 (Non-Members). Includes all workshop supplies (brushes, paper, paint). Morning tea will be provided.
