Glen Rock Gallery June

This month the gallery features a stunning selection of digital photographic images by Linda Taylor. After a life-changing accident that left Linda with disabilities, she turned to art and obtained her TAFE Certificate III in Visual Arts and Contemporary Craft in 2007, which gave her an excellent grounding in the principles of colour, design and composition and awakened her ability to see the beauty everywhere around her.

Since then she has won over 300 awards for her work, including the prestigious Judges Awards in

a Photographic Challenge which had more than a thousand entries. At the recent Esk Show, “Country Horse” received First Place in the ‘Typically Australian’ category as well as Grand Champion Colour Print. “Crashing Waves” won First Place in the ‘Seascape’ section.

Her images have been featured on Foxtel’s weather station and she has had great success on the Global Website www.Pixoto.com. Her favourite subjects are night time photography, pets and action scenes.

The exhibition will continue until June 30.
