Exciting Opportunity Drives To Courthouse Gallery Door

The Kilcoy Art Society Inc (KASI) was privileged to have the Courthouse Art Gallery in Yowie Park chosen as the perfect location for a special corporate event ran by Nissan Australia, held over Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 August. The Gallery was hired as the venue to present to Australia’s leading motoring journalists the launch of their new 370Z Nissan Nismo Sports Car.

Nissan’s Managing Director, General Manager, Technical and Training director and support staff travelled from Melbourne to attend the exciting event. The presentation took place inside the main gallery, then lunch was served on the ‘invisible deck’ overlooking the beautiful Fred Greensill lake.

The sports cars were fresh into Australia and each day were test driven up to Kilcoy travelling the scenic route from Brisbane Airport via Mt. Mee, Kilcoy, Somerset Dam, Mt. Glorious and back to the airport.

The weather was perfect, everything ran smoothly and Nissan Australia and guests were delighted with the venue and relaxing surrounds.

It truly was a wonderful contrast seeing the new sports cars alongside the historical buildings in Yowie Park and KASI thanks Nissan Australia for this wonderful opportunity!
