Queen’s Baton Relay
THE DAY THE QUEEN’ S BATON RELAY CAME TO TOWN
It was wonderful to see the Kilcoy and Somerset Region residents out and about yesterday afternoon to witness the Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton being carried through our township.
Along with all the organised activities and entertainment being held at the Kilcoy State School sports ground, KASI held an art activity for kids.
Thank you to local artists Ruth Hughes, Trish Poole and Brian Wallace for running the art activity…helping kids to capture their thoughts of today’s Queen’s Baton Relay visit to Kilcoy on a huge art board, using paints, textas and other media.
