New Art Exhibition in Time for Mother’s Day
The new exhibition at the Kilcoy Courthouse Art Gallery opens on Thursday, 10 May just in time for Mother’s Day. Twenty-three artists are exhibiting seventy-six artworks in a range of media.
The society changes the exhibition in the gallery every three months. In this exhibition Justine Maddern is exhibiting her luscious floral paintings, Noela Lowien and Brian Wallace are featuring beautiful landscapes from the Kilcoy district and Lindsay Conroy will be displaying her uniquely produced eco printed silk wraps and prints. The society’s newest member, Mary Martin, will be displaying her photography and Dawn Evans will be exhibiting her popular carved skulls using animals from the local area.
The gallery is open from Thursday to Monday from 9.00am to 1.00pm. As well as paintings, cards, sculptures, silk wraps and silk prints the gallery has Gift Vouchers. These Gift Vouchers would also be an ideal gift for Mother’s Day.
