New Quarterly Exhibition
The final quarterly exhibition for 2018 was officially opened on Friday night 9th November at the Courthouse Art Gallery. The exhibition includes over 70 new pieces of artwork and we all agree that it is an outstanding collection! Congratulations to all our artist members and to the exhibition team for creating a fabulous display!
To coincide with the conclusion of a huge horse racing week, the theme for the opening night was “After the Races”. Well done to all those who made an effort to take part in the ‘horsing around’! Congratulations to Ian Badman and Julie Henley who were selected as the best dressed male and female by our judges, and to Vicki Higgins who won our lucky door prize of a free marquee to share with ten friends ((thanks to the Kilcoy Race Club – valued at $50) at the Kilcoy Christmas Cup Race Day on 1st December!
December’s feature wall will be a special conglomeration of artwork by our rostered volunteers, as a way of saying ‘thank you’ for helping to keep the gallery manned and opened during 2018!
