Ruth Hughes
Whilst working I developed an interest in calligraphy. Watercolours and pen and ink studies were a hobby on my travels too.
Since retirement, I have been able to concentrate on oil, and, on occasions, enjoy ei plein air, attempting to capture the light. My pen and ink drawing continues. I have been a keen participant in the Kilcoy Courthouse Art Gallery since its relocation having shown works in every quarterly exhibition of the gallery since 2012.
