Trish Poole
I live on acerage outside Kilcoy with my husband Jeff & Corgi dog, having retired from Longreach 10 years ago.
Living in Western Queensland gave me an appreciation of nature, vast open plains, big skies & colourful sunsets, also the unique homesteads around where I lived inspired me to pick up a paint brush.
It was not until my children were at boarding school that I became serious about painting as I had more time.
My preferred medium is watercolour but I also enjoy acrylics which are more forgiving. Two of my art works are in a private collection in New York.
