2018 Art Activities

We’ve held several workshops throughout the year – some subsidised by the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) and held at the Kilcoy State High School art room, and some ‘in house’ ones held at the Gallery or in Yowie Park.

Topics this year have included watercolour, advanced drawing, rag rug making, Art and Music in the Park, and Atelier Pouring Medium.

In addition, once a month artists get together for a “paint out”, held at a different home or venue each month so that the view and subject matter changes. These informal ‘get togethers’ have proven to be very popular throughout the year. Anyone can come along and join in – you do not need to be a KASI member. Just bring all your own art supplies for your preferred medium and your own lunch. Hope to see some newcomers there! Check with the Gallery for the next venue.
