Deck planks have arrived

Along with members of the Kilcoy Art Society Inc (KASI), regular visitors to Yowie Park have been watching with anticipation the building of the deck on the eastern side of the Kilcoy Courthouse Art Gallery. Slowly but surely the structure is now looking like a deck!

While waiting for final approvals to start the deck, over the past 18 months KASI ran a fundraising activity where community members could purchase a 6 metre deck plank for $30 as a way of supporting our project. Well…the planks for the deck have now been delivered!

Thank you again to all the people who have supported our project by purchasing one or more planks! You will see your names engraved into the timber as a permanent memento of your support and generosity towards the KASI and the building of our new deck! Thanks also to our builder Jim Traves, and our team of KASI volunteers for making it happen!
