Lakeside Deck Further Sponsorship
THE LAKESIDE DECK on the eastern side of the Kilcoy Courthouse Art Gallery was officially opened 9 September 2018. Since that time, the Kilcoy Art Society Inc (KASI) has been establishing security and furniture needs for the deck, and developing ‘Hire Terms and Conditions’ to enable effective usage of the deck by the community.
We received a donation of a comfy outdoor lounge suite, thanks to KASI Member Ruth Hughes. We also have use of a couple of timber benchseats, thanks to Kilcoy District Historical Society. Further to this, to improve Gallery security and also accommodate future events on the deck, KASI sought financial sponsorship to:

Further to this, to improve Gallery security and also accommodate future events on the deck, KASI sought financial sponsorship to:
- Install security screens on the deckside Gallery windows; and
- Purchase 80 quality outdoor chairs

KASI’s next fundraising projects will include the purchase of tables, establishing a furniture storage area and installation of outdoor awnings to provide further weather protection!
